Created in His Honor

Created by his family to honor the memory of Leroy Anthony Coles III, the C3 Coles Family Foundation provides scholarships to high school seniors who will be majoring in an engineering discipline at a four year college or university.
As a father, coach, mentor and friend he had a passion for helping people evaluate opportunities and reach for their full potential. He deeply believed that educational opportunities were a significant way to better one's self and open greater doors in life. We were all so fortunate that he touched our lives and those of so many others. As a man who was generous with his time and expertise, this newly created Foundation, C3 Coles Family Foundation, will honor his passion and continue to further his efforts.
Our Mission: To establish and operate an education scholarship program known as “Poppy’s Promise”, dedicated to help young students experience educational opportunities both traditional and non-traditional in nature. Additionally, the organization will support youth educational endeavors that will focus on engineering, science, art, music and amateur sports as a vehicle to educate young people: and support these students as they transition from high school to college.
